Rudder gap profile tape, also known as MYLAR tape, is designed to create a seamless transition between the wing and the rudder or flaps, as well as the horizontal and vertical stabilizers and their respective control surfaces. The tape reduces the drag generated at the open gap, resulting in more effective control surfaces and improved aircraft performance.
Our rudder gap profile tape is securely attached with a special adhesive film and further fixed with extra-thin PVC tape. The special curvature guarantees the best possible fit for moving parts. While the profile tape can be used for several years, we recommend regularly replacing the extra-thin PVC tape covering it.
