The Earplug

Clarity Aloft earplugs are designed to enhance both hearing protection and voice communication. Each earpiece contains a miniature speaker that delivers voice signals from the aircraft's audio system. The replaceable tips (Comply™ Canal Tips), which attach to the earpieces, feature a built-in channel to guide the sound from the speaker to the ear. Used by military helicopter pilots, both components of the earpiece — the transducer and the Comply Canal Tips — have been rigorously tested and proven to meet the most demanding military standards.

Replaceable Tips

The superior seal is achieved using our patented Comply™ Canal Tips, originally developed for high-end hearing aids. These viscoelastic foam tips provide maximum hearing protection by all available means, including Active Noise Reduction (ANR).
Outstanding noise attenuation in the speech frequency range (400 to 4000 Hz) — rated at 35–45 dB — results in unmatched voice clarity. The earplugs are comfortable, as they conform to the shape of the ear canal. A significant body of acoustic science stands behind this impressive performance. Noise-Canceling Microphone

The noise-canceling microphone used in the Clarity Aloft headset is a high-quality electret condenser microphone, specifically engineered for speech frequencies in extremely high-noise environments. This is the same microphone used by performers and musicians who demand the highest level of sound fidelity.
