AN316 Thin Hex

Crafted from durable steel and cadmium plated to QQ-P-416A, Type II, Class 2 standards, the AN315 plain hex nut delivers reliable performance under high tension. Built for strength, it can handle the same heavy-load capacity as the AN310 castle nut, but requires an auxiliary locking device such as a check nut or lock washer for secure fastening.

The AN316 hex check nut provides half the tensile strength of the AN315 and is commonly used as a locking device for plain nuts, set screws, and rod ends.

Ordering: Select by AN number. Add R or L after the dash number to specify right-hand or left-hand thread.
