For ADS-B out you need to connect to a GPS source. You can combine with kit from TQ, complete with GPS, cables and antenna. Choose between internal or external (of airplane fuselage) antenna. You can use any GPS-source NMEA WAAS GNSS, see below.

GNSS Device Explanation
No WAAS GNSS device is used. The ADS-B function is disabled.
NexNav mini

A NexNav mini device is used: The ADS-B function is enabled.
Approved Device
A recommended NMEA WAAS GNSS device is used. The device must support at least the $GxRMC-sentence (as defined in the NMEA 0183 protocol): The ADS-B function is enabled.
